LITTLE DARK HEARTS lies somewhere between Leigh Bardugo's NINTH HOUSE and Kester Grant's THE COURT OF MIRACLES. While I haven't exactly settled on an age category yet, this book has a very AU 1940's vibe.

Well, not right this second anyway.
I'm planning on being query-ready sometime this summer with my brand new baby, A CURSE BETWEEN US. This book is so special to me in so many ways. I rarely write anything contemporary, so this book was a wonderful witchy surprise.
It's a little like Shea Earnshaw’s WICKED DEEP and Alice Hoffman’s PRACTICAL MAGIC. This YA manuscript is complete at 94,000 words but that count will probably change with my next round of revisions.
